Send a Care Package to a Military Dog

I love dogs with jobs. And you know what's a particularly hard dog-job, one that goes beyond a typical K9-5? Being a military pup. We're all aware you can send care packages to humans in the military, but did you know that Military Working Dogs (MWD) also appreciate a package of goodies?

These highly trained dogs are a vital part of the U.S. Armed Forces, and have been used as partners with U.S. troops deployed overseas since World War I. They work side-by-side with their handlers in war zones as trackers, sentries, explosive detection, in search and rescue, and a ton more. Basically, their job is way harder than yours - so c'mon, throw a dog a bone.

Examples of needed items:

5- Kongs and other heavy duty chew toys

9- K-9 salves for Paws/Noses

10- Dog treats made in the USA only

You can send your packages to the following organizations

*It’s important to contact each organization before you send your donation or package to verify shipping details.*
