Breastfeeding Cop Saves Life of Abandoned Infant

It turns out that a great first line of defense when an abandoned infant is discovered is a breastfeeding cop.

"If there was a problem, yo, I'd solve it" may have been the lyrics from Vanilla Ice, but I'm pretty sure it's police officer - and new mother- Luisa Fernanda Urrea's mantra.

The fast-acting officer is being praised after saving the life of an abandoned baby by breastfeeding the newborn until an ambulance arrived. After arriving on the scene in a remote forest settlement in Colombia, where the baby was found in undergrowth, she quickly noticed the little one - who still had part of her umbilical cord attached - was starving and at risk of hypothermia.

KindaKind believes that radical kindness and radical empathy are the only things that will save the world. We're not only trying to normalize kindness, we're on a mission to prove that Kindness Is Badass.
