The hardest moments in life is to watch someone who is kind and caring, get ill and not even be able to communicate what hurts them. All you see is an individual who is hurting and looks to you for help and you feel powerless because you can’t just fix it. “Our Lucy is the greatest individual ever to enter our lives. She is more than a pet- she is t he old soul of our household who cares and nurtures her entire human and nonhuman family. She is family.” That’s all I could get from her humans Debbie and Ghassan who are stricken with fear and despair, tears running down their faces.
