Man Buys $540 Worth of Cookies So Girl Scouts Can Get Out of the Cold Weather

Everyone loves Girl Scout cookies, but few purchase $540 worth.

But that is exactly what this Good Samaritan did earlier this week. And the large purchase wasn't to feed his sweet tooth, rather it was to help get two Girl Scouts out of the cold.

On a chilly night in Greenville, South Carolina, Maya and Emerson had been slangin' their treats outside of a store, when they were approached by a man who bought 7 packs of cookies for $40 (and told them to keep the change).

The man then returned shortly after his first sale and said he wanted to buy their entire stock of cookies so they could escape the chilly winter night.

In total, the man spent $540 on Girl Scout cookies.

Kayla Dillard posted a photo of the youngsters with the man to Facebook so she could praise him for his kindness.

“He came back to the table and said ‘pack up all of your cookies. I’m taking them all so y’all can get out of this cold’,” wrote Dillard. “$540 he spent on cookies. What an amazing soul!!!!”
